Banyuwangi has many beautiful tourist destinations, one of which is the red island beach. The location of this beach is in Pesanggaran District, Banyuwangi.
Red island beach is known for the presence of a small green hill that juts into the middle of the sea which is covered with red soil which is located near the shoreline. This beach is also known as a surfing beach because the waves are quite high.
Red Island beach has the meaning of the name red which is indicated because of the reddish color of the sand in the afternoon. On the coast of this red island, there is a temple that is often used by Hindus for religious ceremonies.
The distance traveled is not too far, it takes 2 hours from downtown Banyuwangi.

This beach has a length of approximately 3 km, don't worry if you just want to sit on the beach because there is a beach chair rental for IDR 25,000 for 1 hour.
This beach has high waves so it is suitable if used for surfing. Don't worry if you don't bring your surfboard there are surf rentals with prices starting from IDR 50,000
Visiting the Temple
Tourists often visit a temple that is often used for ceremonies by Hindus, called Pura Tawang Alun, this temple has been around since the 1980s.
